While most published errors are minor and have little effect on the work itself, the difference it makes to the impression it has on the reader is significant. Text riddled with mistakes, even small ones, gives the feel of amatuer writing and can sometimes put a reader off the book entirely.

For these reasons, a proofreader or editor is important to check your manuscript for mistakes before publishing. It is a simple process of sending the manuscript and checking the changes upon return but it makes a big difference to the finished product.

Since it is so important, I keep prices reasonable to ensure that the service is available to all writers, beginners included and price will depend on the length of the text and the amount of detail requested. Please see the services page for prices.
